Hello in this small tutorial you will be able to fix the ping problem as the title says, mwraki had a simlar problem and i came across with some fixes.

if you see server ping 9999 dont panic follow the steps bellow.


1. Flush your dns cache, how to do that?
Windows 7:

• Open Start menu
  
  
• Click Run
  
  
• Type cmd and press enter
  
  
• In the Command Prompt type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter
  

• On your keyboard, press Win+X to open the WinX Menu
  
  
• Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
  
  
• Run this command ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter

I, as an iA-Veteran, want to suggest a "Suggestion Section" in our forum.
Since a forum is a place to discuss topics, why not discuss about suggestions?

Since Aria turns out to have the same old layout/structure/architecture with the same farming places/items/monsters etc. I'd like to make some suggestions to get more ppl to play and attract new people. Also I want to see the reactions; are the suggestions good? are they bad? Will iA try to put the suggestions into effect?

This shall not be considered as flaming, please.
I just want to suggest various things and we can dicuss in this section about new stuff. In addition to this the suggestion section can be seen as a book of ideas.

Here is a coin calculator for donaters so they can see how many coins they can get. Monthly bonus is INCLUDED. Other bonuses like Easter, Xmas etc ARE NOT INCLUDED.

NOTE! This is a re-post of Smokes guide that he made Mars 26, 2011.

So, you've installed IA and it still crashes when you click out of the window?

You just have to do the following steps:

1. Download this: Display Fusion

2. Once downloaded, extract all files to a folder.

3. Run PokemonGenerator.exe, type in any name you want. Click copy.



4. Run DFS.3.3.1.exe

5. Click through the installation, once it's installed (make sure the option to run on start up is ENABLED, it is by default, so don't uncheck the box when installing)

ONLY update this program, after doing step 8 below.

6. Run the program if it's not already running (Check start menu for Display Fusion, or look in the task menu for the below icon)



7. Right click that blue icon, click 'Settings'

8. Click the 'License Key' button and then click the 'Paste from Clipboard' button (hopefully you haven't copied anything else, if you have, go back to the keygen.exe and click copy again)



It should look like this after clicking 'Apply'



9. Now click OK. Run L2.exe from your system folder. You won't error ever again. (At least not the alt tabbing out/clicking out of window error).

Are you new to IA and you Do Not know how to buff? please read!

Mage standard buffs
Wind Walk, Mental Aegis, Resist shock, Magic Barrier, Shield, Bless the Body, Acumen, Berserker Spirit, Empower, Wild Magic, Song of Earth, Song of Vitality, Song of Warding, Dance of Mystic, Dance of Concentration, Dance of Vampire, Prophecy of Wind.

Tip: the buff sets also depend on what you are going to do, are you going to PVP a WC, SK or anything that has para it is obvious you should buff Song of Invocation and/or Divine Protection. If you have a character that does NOT have body to mind or QMP I recommend you buffing Song life and Regeneration (Song of Life's effect is stronger than Regeneration's effect).

Archer standard buffs
Song of Life, Haste, Wind Walk, Magic Barrier, Shield, Bless the Body, Focus, Death whisper, Berserker Spirit, Might, Song of Earth, Song of Hunter, Song of Warding, Song of Vitality, Dance of Fire, Dance of Fury, Dance of Vampire, Dance of Warrior, Prophecy of Fire.

Tip: you can consider dropping Berserker Spirit depending on what character you will PVP and/or where you will farm.

Dagger standard buffs
Song of Life, Resist shock, Mental Aegis, Song of Invocation, Wind Walk, Haste, Shield, Bless the Body, Focus, Song of Hunter, Song of Vitality, Song of Warding, Dance of Fury, Prophecy of Water

Tip: daggers on IA are meant to deal their damage with blows: Might, Dance of Warrior, Death Whisper and Dance of Fire DO NOT affect your blow damage so please DO NOT buff these buffs unless you are low level and you hit with melee hits. Dagger skills reuse time is based upon your attack speed. If you think your character does its skills to slow you can consider buffing Dance of Vampire and Berserker Spirit. Blow success rate is based upon your crit rate, if your crit rate is higher than 400 then you are fine (so just make sure you are around 400 crit rate). So for example if you are a hero PW you will have 400+ crit rate without crit rate buffs so do not buff these buffs and buff other buffs instead (Divine protection, Dance of earth, Elemental protection etc). Depending on which dagger class you will play you will buff different buffs: for example on AW's and TH's its pretty useless to buff evasion buffs (just use Ultimate Evasion when needed and you will still have 190 eva or so). You might even try to buff M.atk and/or Casting speed buffs on AWs and PWs but you should know that M.atk buffs won't make you land everything on anyone (especially on donaters)

Warrior standard buffs
Wind Walk, Haste, Magic Barrier, Shield, Bless the Body, Berserker Spirit, Focus, Death Whisper, Might, Song of Earth, Song of Hunter, Song of Vitality, Song of Warding, Dance of Fury, Dance of Warrior, Dance of Fire, Dance of Vampire, Prophecy of Fire.

Tip: gladiators and warlords have battle roar which will take up an extra buff slot, please consider dropping Dance of Vampire and/or Berserker Spirit. Is your MP dropping too fast? If yes, consider dropping Dance of Vampire and/or Berserker Spirit and buff Regen buffs (don't forget Song of Life's effect is stronger than Regeneration's effect). You can also buff Prophecy of Water instead of Prophecy of Fire.

If you are playing a destroyer with a sword (so that means doing skills all the time) --> look at the buffset for Daggers.

If you want to know why I put Haste and Wind Walk in the beginning of every buffset --> it's because in IA we have potions that have same effect as the buffs Haste and Wind Walk so when you lose those buffs it's not a big deal. You can just buy these pots and use them with having the same effect! So do not forget always having those with you during PVP.

Also, depending on which armor you are using you can add or drop buffs, for example if you are using Majestic you can consider dropping Resist shock, same goes for Royal Drake, if you are using Royal Drake you can consider dropping Divine Protection and Resist shock and so on.
